In front of the library, there are many bikes and cars and also the bus passes the hotel from the university square. The Schlossberg Tunnel, through which many cars find their way every day, ends a few metres above the ArtHotel. But due to the reason that the hotel is not located right at the adjoining street Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage, one only sometimes hears a loud motorcycle.

The volume of the road should not be a problem inside the hotel. By turning into the forecourt, the hotel is arranged like an own little bay around the court. Thus, there are barely any windows that point straight to the street. If one takes one of the side streets beside the hotel to the Hauptstraße, one also walks straight to the Church of the Holy Spirit and the market place.
