In front of the library, there are many bikes and cars and also the bus passes the hotel from the university square. The Schlossberg Tunnel, through which many cars find their way every day, ends a few metres above the ArtHotel. But due to the reason that the hotel is not located right at the adjoining street Friedrich-Ebert-Anlage, one only sometimes hears a loud motorcycle.

The volume of the road should not be a problem inside the hotel. By turning into the forecourt, the hotel is arranged like an own little bay around the court. Thus, there are barely any windows that point straight to the street. Already in the lobby, despite the glass doors, one barely hears anything of the hustle and bustle that takes place in front of the entrance.

Almost as close is the well-known pedestrian zone, the Hauptstraße. If one takes one of the side streets beside the hotel to the Hauptstraße, one also walks straight to the Church of the Holy Spirit and the market place. Thus, if one has this hotel as a place to stay in Heidelberg, one can very quickly tick the first sightseeings on his list.

But this can also be disturbing. By leaving the hotel, one has a view to a big construction site that is currently raging at the other side of the Sofienstraße. There, a multi-storey hotel is built right beside the big Galeria Kaufhof. But in contrast to this, the view to the other direction, down the street Plöck, is already more pleasant and the street is especially a lot more quiet than the well travelled Sofienstraße.

The Hauptstraße can be reached, just like the bridge, in a few steps. From there you have free choice. Whether you take the ascent to Heidelberg Castle by mountain railway or on foot, go to St. Peter's Church, or go on a shopping tour along the Hauptstraße. That is up to you. And it's all within walking dista

The sights that are considered MUST-See, such as the Heidelberg Castle or the Old Bridge, are a little further away from the hotel. Theoretically you can even reach them on foot, but you should plan some extra time and suitable footwear. It is easier, of course, by bus and train, as the hotel is located at the Montpellier Bridge that extends over the tracks of the main station. On the bridge there is a bus and tram stop.

Qube Hotel Bahnstadt

Although you'll have to rely on nearby public transportation, staying at the "First Class" 4-star hotel built in 2020 is one more reason to indulge in the Bahnstadt and its many offerings. The Qube is easy to get to via the B37 and offers an underground parking garage for its guests, who then may choose between offerings such as the critically acclaimed restaurant or the open outdoor and rooftop terraces that offer views of all of Heidelberg. With its modern architectural style and brand new amenities, you won't easily forget your stay!
